Custom Dagger Scabbards/Sheaths start at $60.00. Sword sheaths start at $75.00 for a short sword with 24" blade, and work up from there. I must have the blade in the shop to mold and fit it properly.
Like I explained, every piece is fashioned to fit your particular sword or dagger, is lined with treated wool felt, and hand molded for maximum protection. Some are simple in design, others are highly molded and decorated, but all are one of a kind. These pictures will offer an idea of what is possible to you.
Should you request, Upon completion each blade and scabbard are blessed with Runes and adorned with a charm, fitting of a fine blade.
In this particular piece, a custom leaf pattern was fashioned on the sheath, and fine suede was carefully molded upon it to create a raised relief of the pattern below. The sheath was then married to a large string pouch, to be worn on the belt. The photo truly does not do it justice!
This scabbard was created for the Eating Style Dagger so commonly worn by Common and Nobleman at the time. Scabbards like these are small enough to fit behind a pouch or to wear alone, generally protecting a blade no more than 7-8" in length, but still able to offer protection on those lonely trips back from the Castle at night! Angled or Straight, these hangers and scabbards are available with or without the daggers. Just let us know what you prefer.
