Fancy Buckled Belts

Here you will find examples of belts that use buckle to secure them instead of rings. Once again, contrary to the preachings of many So-called "Experts", the buckled belt made its appearance over 2000 years ago.

Belts of this style became a statement of station and wealth during the late Medieval and Early Renaissance periods. Sword belts were always buckled belts for the most obvious of reasons. Rings would slip, and a sword is of no value if it resides around ones ankles!

We have many levels of decoration on these belts, and frankly most of them are customized for individual customers. But these images represent the most commonly ordered belts.
